In 1991, a young Gerardo Rios embarked on a journey that would define his legacy. Leaving Mexico in search of a brighter future, he arrived in the United States with little more than his dreams and an unrelenting work ethic. He was determined to create opportunities for his family, and through sheer perseverance, he built what would become a cornerstone of the community.
Starting from nothing, Gerardo began mowing lawns and doing yard work for neighbors, quickly earning a reputation for his reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence. Word spread, and what started as small jobs grew into a flourishing business. By 1992, Rios Enterprises was officially born.
Over the years, Gerardo poured his heart into his work, upgrading tools, expanding services, and assembling a dedicated team. From a single lawnmower and an old pickup truck, he built a company trusted by residential and commercial clients alike. Through every challenge, Gerardo stayed true to his core values: treat every client like family, and every yard like his own.

After 35 years of hard work and dedication, Gerardo is passing the torch to his son, Gerardo Rios Jr.. Growing up immersed in the family business, Gerardo Jr. shares his father’s passion for quality work and community values. With fresh ideas and a modern vision, he is poised to lead the company into an exciting new era.
To honor this new chapter, the company is rebranding from Rios Enterprises to Rios Landscaping in 2025. The new name reflects our roots in landscaping while embracing innovation to meet the needs of today’s clients.
